Activity: Technical assessment
Result: Production of a technical assessment report including recommendations for the organisation and implementation of a project to eliminate surplus small arms and conventional ammunition cluttering Tajik depots, as well as for improving the security of storage facilities and the management of weapons and ammunition stocks under the control of the Tajik State.

Activity: Training of trainers in the field of land release
Result: Design and delivery of a training module to promote a better understanding of the land release process by CPADID trainers, as well as the acquisition of course materials and tools for delivering training to a multicultural and professionally diverse audience (military, representatives of civil society including members of specialised NGOs).

Objective: Strengthening the capacity of the national mine action programme

Activity: Training, mentoring and quality management
Result: Design and delivery of initial and refresher training for Tajik deminers and their supervisors. Expert involvement in all phases of knowledge and skills acquisition in demining and pyrotechnic clearance in a post-conflict environment.

Project: REPUBLIC OF CONGO
Activity sector: Pyrotechnic clearance
Activity: Operations quality management
Result: Quality control of clearance operations on the former Lokossa ammunition depot site (Orientale Province). Built in 1948 by Belgian colonists and abandoned in 1996, this former storage site of 1,248m² is located 1.5km from the nearest dwellings. Several thousand rounds of ammunition of all calibres buried in the soil and dense vegetation were displaced and destroyed, requiring 3 months of work for a demining team.
